Throughout our time in Ethiopia, we stayed in a Guest House with four other families who adopted through our same agency. We have all been through such similiar ups and downs and emotional rollar coasters over the past year, and our shared experiences made us instantly connect. Between us five families, we are adopting a total of eight children. We made some amazing memories together as we shared our stories, road many miles in bumpy terrain together, had late night dance parties, and laughed at the funny things Ethiopia threw at us each day. Our theme of our stay there as a group sort of morphed into "just go with it!". It was such a blessing to be with such like-minded people, so full of life, passion, and committment to do whatever it takes to bring their beloved children home.
All five of us families are currently waiting on a very important document. This document will give our agency permission to move our children from their current place of residence to a transition house in the capital city. For a multitude of reasons, we would humbly ask you to please pray that this letter is procured soon. We are all so anxious to bring Christiana, Olivia, Kai, Elijah, Ruthie, Malia, Hosanna, and Asher home.
